Where is YOUR Happy Today? Be Sure to Look Where Happy Is

See that little dog?  His name is Enrique, Rique for short, and he gets talked about a lot by me.  He’s a spoiled rotten Chihuahua mess and I love the stuffing out of him.  He is a great reminder to stay looking at the happy in my life.  He is funny, aggravating and most of all a happy little dog.  He even tries to talk, and what a noise he makes too.  I can’t count how many times when I’ve been tempted to look at the sour side of life he did something funny and with the laughter bubbling up from inside, I remembered my happy.

My point is this.  No matter what’s going on there is always a happy place and it’s easy to reach because it’s inside you.  Now I know some one may say, but Donna you don’t know what I’m going through.  You’re right, I don’t  But I do know that even during the hardest times in my life happy won the day when I reached inside and touched base with it.  Most people don’t feel happy because they are looking for it somewhere out there, where it is not located.  No one can bring you happy all wrapped up in a box either.  There are not enough things happening to keep you in happy either.  It’s a choice.

You might want to get a Chihuahua puppy and spoil him silly to remind you to reach inside for your happy or just set up reminders throughout your house.. the dog is more fun though.  Whatever you do, always go for the happy.  Life is just so much more enjoyable when you decide on happy and keep deciding on it

It’s about so much more than just paper money, real abundance

Real abundance is more than money, money is just paper.  When people say to me that they want more money I know what they really mean is that they want the things that money can buy.  After all money is only piper it is not true wealth, nor the experience of wealth.  What all people really desire is to experience the reality of interacting with abundance and prosperity in every area of their lives.  This includes fine homes, reliable transportation, nice clothing, plenty to eat, and being able to come and go as one pleases.  But even deeper than that human beings really strive to be happy.  The desire for wealth is deeply rooted in our desire to experience ourselves as the abundance and prosperity that we actually are.

 

As long as we continue to look outside ourselves for wealth and happiness, we will find it only in fleeting moments.  The reality is we must first come to the understanding that we are the energy of abundance, well being, and happiness.  And in all of our searching for abundance through money and lots of work we miss out on the opportunity to experience ourselves as Source Energy, the power which brings all things into physical form.  What each of us indeed is actually seeking to find is a way to experience ourselves as that which we truly are.

 

In all of your getting get understanding, whether it is learning new knowledge or new skills, understanding of who you are is at the root of joy.  Knowing yourself to be the energy of love, joy, abundance and prosperity is the energy that motivates you always to keep going forwards to express yourself as more abundance.  The goal of all the doing that keeps you busy from sunup to bedtime is to finally come to an understanding that you are the source energy of everything you have been seeking outside yourself.  All the energy for all possibilities is flowing continuously through you seeking to bring into form whatever you can place imagination, passion and prolonged thought to.

 

When you line up your day with I am declarations, knowing yourself to be love, well being, abundance, and joy you’re well on your way to experiencing yourself as these various states of being through each creation you bring in to form.  You are the power bringing experiences into your life to interact with.  You’re always in the process of calling into form experiences of allowing you to express the next highest expression of who you believe yourself to be at any given moment.  Lining up with the truth of who you are is the surest and quickest way to experience yourself as abundance and prosperity.  It is also the surest path to joy.

 

Beginning each day with I AM declarations and ending each day in gratitude  will quickly move you along the path of self expression from the truest point of your being.  It’s about so much more than just paper money, it’s about self realization.

Stop chasing happiness

Perhaps you are one of those individuals who is always in the pursuit of happiness. It seems that no matter what you do, no matter how many actions you take, happiness always alludes you. In your pursuit of happiness perhaps you have changed relationships many times hoping that each one will be the very perfect relationship which will bring you happiness and contentment. You may have taken job after job hoping that each one will bring you a sense of satisfaction and allow you to realize your gifts and talents. You’ve probably read many books, attended classes and seminars, and gone through many self help programs in your pursuit of happiness, only to find happiness not constant for you.

Why? You ask yourself repeatedly why it is that happiness always seems to be just out of reach. The reason that you are not happy is very simple. Happiness is not the result things lining up in the way that you want them to be in order for you to feel happy. This pursuit will always leave you needing to do just one more thing in order to be happy. True happiness is a choice. The simplicity of this is why so many fail to see it. Mankind has taken this basic gift of the Creator and added so much complication that he now feels he must find happiness rather than just choose to be happy.

Most people are holding onto unhappy emotions and experiences of the past. It’s very difficult to be happy when you were filling yourself up with the emotions and experiences of the past. Take a moment and think of something that was painful in your past. What emotion comes to you almost once? It is the emotion that you identify the past experience with. If you are spending more of your time RE experiencing something that has already happened in the past the emotions you feel are always connected to the past. Now for just a moment think of something that you enjoyed, that was pleasant to you. What happens with your emotions? Emotions follow thought. Your emotions always follow your line of thinking. In order to change your emotional state you must choose thoughts that are in line with how you wish to feel. Although this is a very simple principle it is exactly the way your emotional state of being is created.

Rather than looking without yourself for happy take time right now to look within. That is the only place where happiness can ever be found, right within you. Choose a thought that feels good. Now let those thoughts grow, adding more thoughts like itself and go with that in your imagination. Your imagination is a wonderful and powerful tool that not only helps you create an emotional state but it is also the catalyst through which molecules join together to become what we call physical form. In order for anything to become a physical form it must first be thought and felt. This is the process by which you are always creating your next set of experiences.

A report taken several months ago showed that Americans were not the happiest people on the planet, this is rather surprising considering that we are the wealthiest nation. With all of our technology and all the financial wealth in our nation most people still find that they are not happy. The reason for this is very simple; happiness can never be obtained through the experiences outside the self. Happiness is always a choice, you are the only person who can choose it. Isn’t it time that you stop chasing happiness and make the decision to be happy?

The Perils of Resistance Just for the Sake of Resisting

                          what would happen is

 

I talk with lots of people every week who are caught up in a “tug of war”.

They just don’t know how to stop fighting against and resisting good in their lives.

Now they say they want all those good things; love, money, health, happiness, but they really don’t.

What they really want is what they are getting, a tug of war.

Most of us learned as children to say no just because we could.  Parents will remember the first 100 times their little one said “NO” to everything.

They resisted getting dressed, eating, following to the car, getting in and out of the car, on and on..

Little children do this as a way of understanding their power over themselves and their lives.  Knowing how to say no and mean it is a good thing.. unless you just don’t learn to say yes.

There is “only a stream of well being”, says Abraham.  This is all there is.

I get that most people are not experiencing it.  What they are experiencing is lack and lots of it.

You don’t do it on purpose, you’re not really even aware of it.

Yet, you are still playing the game of tug of war, resisting abundance, loving relationships, health, wealth and happiness.

How? 

When you focus most of your attention on defending why something or someone is in your life.. you just ask for more of the same.

When you argue to be right rather than letting your desire for feeling good take priority, you are resisting.

We see this all around us, even in politics these days.  Rather than working together to solve a problem we create, politicians and individuals  would rather argue and prove themselves right.

Nothing is right about this.  Arguing just to be arguing is problem creation, not problem solving.

We humans have a tendency to create lots of “problems” for ourselves so that we can get a better idea of what we really do want to interact with.  These problems encourage us to reach higher, think differently and make exciting choices leading to exciting new “realities” to experience.

This is natural.  What’s working against us is when you don’t know when or how to stop problem creating and get on to the solution creating.

Ask yourself what would happen if you just let go easily.  How would you feel?  What would be the reaction of others if you stopped arguing, stopped fighting and just chose joy?

The choice is really whether you would rather be happy or be right..

If you can stop resisting long enough to discover what would happen if you chose joy over being right, you would discover a whole new energy to create your life with.

Needing to be right is the ego trying to gain power.  It reflects your insecurity and doubts about your self worth.

Being happy says that you are ok with you, you know how wonderful, powerful, creative and worthy you are.

Validate Yourself for Happiness

As a spiritual life coach I hear from a lot of people who don’t feel validated They are suffering with low self esteem, feeling low and unsuccessful. This is not a good way to feel. Waking up in the morning with nothing to look forward to, nothing that excites you and gets your juices flowing just isn’t living, it’s surviving.

You are not here to just survive, to manage, to get through one more set of challenges.

You are here to Thrive… to be happy, to enjoy each moment of your physical existence.

I know the feeling, I’ve been there. One of the reasons I don’t go there now is I don’t like the way it feels. I bet you don’t like feeling low and down either. We are Beings of joy, love, happiness and pleasure. We thrive on feeling good. We are at our eternal best when we are excited, inspired and motivated.

You know you want to feel good. You strive and struggle to get into that place of joy and excitement about life. Sometimes you make it and sometimes you just can’t seem to reach that far.

Here’s what I want you to do starting right now. Validate yourself. That’s right I want you to validate yourself.

Out loud I want you to say three things that you really like about yourself. Go ahead, say I have beautiful eyes, delightful hair, my body is perfect for me.

Say them again. You can use something different from the examples I give.

Now think of three more things you really appreciate about yourself.

I love my sense of humor, my smile is awesome, I am very loving.

Say it again, a bit louder. You are validating yourself and it’s really important.

You are a wonderful, powerful, creative, magical being. Sometimes you just to to be reminded of it.
You are talented, giving, generous, caring, motivating, inspiring, wise, funny, loving and strong.

Go ahead and say those things about yourself. Validate yourself some more. It’s good for you.

We talk a lot about the attitude of gratitude. It’s wonderful and powerful, yet it’s only a step in the direction of appreciation. Appreciation is the vibration of the Creative Source of which you are a part. You can’t severe your tie from Source Energy, that’s who you are. You can however stop being aware of the connection. This is where the validation comes in. It’s a means of feeling the connection. Getting you back in line with who you are rides the wave of appreciation. Using the tools of self validation several times each day will help you to see yourself as you really are.

You have many dreams that you haven’t brought into physical for yet because you don’t believe in the dreams and you don’t believe in yourself. Through self validation you will be able to tear down that wall of limiting beliefs and move through with inspired action.

Now I want you to make a list of all the things you’ve achieved in the past week.
Write down every goal you’ve accomplished for the week. Include everything you can think of from the little to the large.
Allow yourself to feel good about these accomplishments.

Say out loud, I accomplish my goals and bring my dreams into reality. I am a powerful creator, following inspiration with motivated action.

Now take the list to a month.

Go for six months, then a year. This is a powerful exercise to do at the end and the beginning of each New Year. It’s also a great boost when you are feeling stuck.

Everyone feels a bit low now and then. We tend to let our emotions be in charge of what we are thinking and thus how we feel. Through the process of these exercises you can bust loose anything and move into a better feeling energy.

I encourage you to do the validation exercise first thing each morning. You will find that it empowers you with joy, hope, and belief in yourself.

If you really want to boost the energy quickly set aside 15 minutes to do an appreciate exercise.
Start off by letting your eyes move around the room until something catches your attention that really pleases you. Say out loud I am so appreciative of _____________.
Move on to the next thing in the room, look outside and see what pleases you. In just a few minutes this will take on a life of it’s own as things to appreciate flow quicker and quicker to your awareness.

Through self validation and Appreciation exercises you will quickly transform your feelings, your thoughts and in a short time your physical experiences.

Watch That Self Talk, Your Words are Power

Throughout history we have known the power of our words.

In the Old Testament GOD is said to have stated “let there Be Light” and there was light.

In Egypt the Pharaoh would proclaim his words and follow with “so let it be written, so let it be done’.

We have many examples throughout history of our understanding that the words we speak have power.

As parents we expect that our children will listen to and obey our words. We know this power on a deep level, yet often we are not consciously aware of this law.

If you were totally conscious of the power of your words you would not use the self talk that you do.

Shocking!

When you stop and listen to what’s being said in your head when you aren’t aware you will be shocked.

Statements of fact, proclamations of creation that cast you in an experience that you often feel dismay over later.

Let’s look at a few self talk conversations and see the power behind them.

I am statements really carry a punch. They are all statements that follow I Am..

fat, stupid, dump, talentless, unloved, disrespected, broke, poor, sick, terminal, hated, confused, sad, discouraged, angry, depressed, tired, no good, worthless, undeserving, etc. etc.

Each of these statements following I AM are declarations, beliefs, expectations that send signals to your body to comply with these instructions. I AM statements are statements of fact that you proclaim to the world, your mind, your body and the Universal Law of Attraction.

When you make statements following the I Am you are proclaiming a state of BEING.. agreeing that this is what you are. Is this really what you wish to experience Being?

Of course not. You do this without thinking. You will not create a horrible experience for yourself with a few of these statements from time to time, however for most people these are everyday thoughts.

The more you practice anything the better you get at it. This holds true for statements that are not really true as well as those that are true.

You really are love, grace, kindness, light, Source Energy; but your I Am statements keep you from experiencing this and hold you in a false state of Beingness.

By choosing to be aware of what you are thinking and speaking you can change your perceptions and your reality. This must be done with consciousness. It’s time to start listening to yourself. Whenever you catch yourself in these false statements of who and what you are, take a moment to laugh at yourself and restate your self.

No matter how long you have been practicing these false statements of Being, you can change them by practicing new ones. Begin today by writing out a list of true I Am statements.

Let your inner voice guide you in making your list.

When you line yourself up vibrationally with new statements and practice them for a month, you will have established a new way of Being as well as a new way of thinking.

As you write your new list of I Am statements be aware of the states of Being you wish to experience. Stay aware of your thoughts and spoken words during the day so you may easily shift to new statements whenever you catch yourself in a thought that is not in line with your desires.

health

well being

kindness

thoughtful

respected

respectful

deserving

strong

positive

peaceful

Continue adding to your list and practicing them. Remember, in just 30 days you will have reprogrammed your thinking and state of Being.

Be joy…
