Are we above the law?
Is a president in this great nation not accountable for breaking the law?
How about lawyers who knowingly try to rewrite law to cover their butts so they can torture without being prosecuted?
To be honest with you, I just don’t get it.
I don’t get that either. How can it be that a party who lies about WMD, Weapons of Mass Destruction to get us to go invade another country be “Christian”?
How bout a president who actively participates in lawyers making little opinions about the law to make room for torture?
How bout using the Patriot Act to spy on American citizens?
I don’t get it.
I really don’t get it.
There is just so much wrong with this type of thinking. It goes against the grain of what I understand being a Christian.
Seems to me that Christian folks want to force their beliefs on others, leaving them no room for free choice.
There doesn’t seem to be much room for tolerance either. What about freedom and protection under the law?
It seems that freedom and protection only apply to those who think and believe the same way. If you are not in the “right” group.. you are liberal, socialist, etc and have forfeited your rights as not only an American, but as a Human Being.
Again, I just don’t understand.
The other day someone wrote that when the left admits that abortion is murder they would admit that America used torture.
What does one thing have to do with the other?
This type of thinking is confusing to me. Wrong is wrong. Period. America Tortured other Human Beings.
How does that make it right? I know we were afraid. I know we were not thinking clearly.
Let’s take actions now to correct the wrong choices this Nation’s Leaders made..
Disbar and impeach the lawyers.
Bring charges against the administration who conspired to torture and gave orders to torture.
It’s not complicated. This nation made a mistake.
Let’s face it with honesty, bravery and courage. Then we can once again be respected by our own citizens and other nations, rather than hanging our heads in shame or making more excuses.
